How to run it
Players enter as individuals and get a new partner each round. Agree the scoring before play, for example one game to 11, win by 2. Frequently asked questions
How many rounds do 4 players need?
The generator suggests one round fewer than the number of players, with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 7. For 4 players, that is 3 rounds. You can choose a different number of rounds in the generator on this page.
How long does a 4-player round robin take?
With 20-minute matches and no breaks, the 3 rounds take 1 hr. If you start at 09:00, play ends at about 10:00. Add time for warm-up, breaks and score entry.
What if one player does not come?
Americano and rotating doubles need at least 4 players. With 3 players, play a singles or Canadian doubles session instead.
How do we score a rotating round robin?
