Feature · AI assistant

Meet Your AI Tournament Assistant.

Your tournament. Your questions. One assistant that knows your event. It is not only for organisers. Players, families and spectators can ask it too, for example when John Smith is playing next, and they get an answer without a phone call. Organisers use it to check the schedule, spot problems and propose changes.

Things you can ask

  • What do I still need to do before I can build the schedule?
  • What happens to the schedule if a court is closed this afternoon?
  • When is John Smith playing next? (Event Guide, for players and spectators)
  • What is on today? (Event Guide, for players and spectators)
  • How can I watch the live stream? (Event Guide, for players and spectators)

Example questions. These are not recorded answers.

One assistant, three places

Answers for organisers, players and spectators.

Most questions at an event are simple: when do I play, where is the court, how do I watch. The Event Guide answers them for attendees, so your team does not have to.

For organisers

Ask NextArena sits in your event workspace. It reads your tournament, checks the schedule and proposes changes for you to approve.

For players and spectators

The Event Guide sits on your public event page. Anyone can ask when a player or team is on next, who is on today, where the venue is, how to watch the stream or how to contact you. No account is needed.

On your dashboard

Ask NextArena on the dashboard answers questions about the platform and your own account, and points you to the right page.

For organisers

What Ask NextArena can do.

Ask NextArena works inside one tournament at a time. It looks up facts with tools, and it does not guess a match, team or court.

Read your tournament

See divisions, courts, matches and the current schedule, including any schedule conflicts.

Check what is left to set up

Find out what is still needed before the schedule can be built or published: venue and courts, divisions and format, registration, entrants and the public page.

Look up matches

List the next scheduled matches and get the detail of one match.

Test a change first

Check whether moving a match to another court or time would create a conflict, before anything is saved.

Plan around a closed court

See which matches a court closure would affect in a time window.

Propose a schedule

Propose moves for existing matches. When no matches exist yet and the setup is ready, propose generating the whole schedule.

You stay in control

It proposes. You decide.

The assistant cannot change your tournament. A change happens only when you approve it.

  1. Ask

Type a question in the Ask NextArena panel in your event workspace.

  2. Review

The assistant answers, or proposes a change with a short summary of what it affects.

  3. Apply

Nothing changes until you press Apply changes or Generate schedule. NextArena checks your permission and the schedule again at that moment. If the change would cause a conflict, nothing is changed.

Padel and pickleball

Built into the tournament, for both sports.

A padel venue with few courts can ask what a closed court does to the day. A pickleball event with many divisions can check what is missing before it generates the schedule. The assistant works on any NextArena tournament, and it uses the same schedule, courts and setup that you already manage.

Frequently asked questions

What is an AI tournament assistant?

It is a chat assistant that answers questions about a tournament. In NextArena it helps two groups. Players, families and spectators can ask it on the public event page, for example when John Smith is playing next. Organisers can ask it about their schedule and setup, and it proposes schedule changes that they approve.

Who can use Ask NextArena in the event workspace?

Organisers whose event package includes Ask NextArena, and who have permission to manage the schedule. It is included with the Core package.

Can the assistant change my schedule?

It can propose moves and propose generating a schedule. It cannot apply them. You press Apply, and NextArena checks your permission and the schedule again. If the change would cause a conflict, nothing changes.

Does it use live tournament data?

Yes. It reads your current tournament data, such as matches, courts, times and match status. It does not read point-by-point scores.

What can players and spectators ask on the event page?

Questions about the schedule and matches, such as when a player or team plays next. They can also ask who has entered, where the venue is, how to watch the live stream and how to contact the organiser. They do not need an account.

Does it work for padel and pickleball?

Yes. It works on any NextArena tournament, so padel and pickleball events both use the same assistant.

Does it use my own permissions?

Yes. In the event workspace it works with the access of the signed-in user, and it is limited to the one tournament you opened.
