Live Scores Alongside Your Padel & Pickleball Streams

Viewers should not need to guess the score. NextArena shows a live score bar under the stream on your public event page. It updates as the scorer enters points.

What the score bar shows

Team names

Both teams or pairs, in large, high-contrast text.

Current score

The points in the game being played.

Games so far

The games already played in the match.

Court and round

A short label, so viewers know which match they watch.

It follows the right match

NextArena pairs each stream with the scoring for that match. You choose what a stream covers when you create it.

Match stream

Shows the score of that match.

Court stream

Shows the live match on that court.

Tournament stream

Shows the featured live match, or the only live match.

How video and scores fit together

  1. Video. Send video from OBS Studio or Larix Broadcaster to your NextArena stream. OBS handles production and encoding.
  2. Scores. The scorer enters points in NextArena scoring, on a phone or in the control room.
  3. Event page. Viewers see the video with the live score bar beneath it.

Streaming to another destination works for video, but the live score bar belongs to the NextArena event page. See padel and pickleball tournament software for the scoring side.

One page for video, scores and schedule

  • Run live scoring for tournament matches.
  • Host the stream and record it for replays.
  • Show the video, the live score, the schedule and your event partners on the same public page.
  • Switch between streams when you run more than one court.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to set anything up for the score bar?

No extra setup. Run the match in NextArena scoring and link the stream to the tournament, a court or a match. The event page shows the score bar under the stream.

Which match does the score bar follow?

A match stream follows its match. A court stream follows the live match on that court. A tournament stream follows the featured live match, or the only live match.

How fast does the score update?

The event page updates as the scorer enters points, so viewers see the score change without a refresh.

Does the score bar appear in replays?

No. The score bar shows while a stream is live. Replays play the video only.

Does it work with OBS and Larix Broadcaster?

Yes. Send video from OBS or Larix Broadcaster to your NextArena stream as usual. The score bar belongs to the event page, so you do not add it in your streaming app.

Can sponsors and venue branding appear with the stream?

Yes. Your tournament name, venue branding and event partners sit on the same event page as the video.
